Mercedes Beach
May

May watched him fall into the ground and wished she’d pushed him herself. She slapped his hand away from her hair in bed. He smelled weird ... When he left, May first heard the rats clawing at the roof. She rarely slept in their room anymore. The smell of cat pee wafted into the room from the apartment below. May would fall asleep on the couch. Sun would come in through the windows, off the brick wall outside. My project is a film narrative that unfolds through found images.
