Soglia ('threshold' in Italian) is a yearly art and fashion magazine that focuses on that which is often omitted and disregarded: the 'in-between' that precedes and follows the spectacle of beauty. Soglia's art direction confronts the unachievable beauty standards that dominate the fashion industry while exploring the possibility of finding beauty in the imperfection of the real. The first volume of the magazine features a four-section photographic essay that unveils the 'real' beauty of models while empowering them with something uncommon—the capacity to be themselves.
