Unavailable is a comprehensive pitch for a new network television program following the lives of four young New Yorkers. The show follows Jared, a sexual assault victim trying to live free of the residual damage from his experiences. Unavailable wants to convey that despite multiple traumas a person can experience, it is possible to overcome them and not be "unavailable" to certain parts of life. This show explores what it's like to be part of the LGBT community in today's social landscape, from relationship troubles and familial conflict to sexual trauma and STD scares. Unavailable aims to shed an honest light on the ups and downs of being queer, and what that word can mean for different people.
