Bushwick is Changing is an investigation into an urban environment that is in a current state of transformation, gentrification being the primary proponent. Through my various investigations within Bushwick’s continuingly changing physical landscape, I hope to expose and educate residents and outsiders alike. From my personal experience within this neighborhood and the cultural and historical significance in the New York City urban environment, my compilation of images and images should be used to influence future spots of gentrification. The current and future developments within the neighborhood that I examined demand a more open dialogue amongst residents, new and old. This is one attempt.
