Today we live in a fast paced age of information and technology. It is undeniable that most things are created and stored digitally. Thinking back to my childhood days, I remember those times when I used to spend hours looking at old family photo albums. As time went by, I realized that this value could not be equally replaced by looking at photos on digital screens. There is no doubt that technology has enhanced our life in so many ways but don’t we just sometimes want to go back and do things as we used to do?
Lifebook is a digital mobile app that allows users to create a photo album based on their submitted images, videos and writings. At the end of each month, a new album will be available to be ordered as a printed book. Lifebook is also an exploration of documentation and serves as a visual diary. It allows the user to track down every moment that he/she has created each day. The world is a beautiful place and there are so many beautiful moments in your life that are just waiting to be captured. Just imagine how interesting it would be if you were able to track down every single thing you have done today in 40 years.
