There is a rise in new media advancements exploiting the realms of augmented and virtual reality. Such technology contributes significantly to our understanding and experience of the world. Are we faced with the prospect of the virtual and the physical merging as to be ultimately indistinguishable from one another, as one seamless, internalized experience?
