Eats Machine is a responsive web and mobile application for hungry college students facing difficulties in eating at local delights due to busy lifestyles. The creators, Jen Shim and Richard Pean, have teamed up to use the best of both of their design and technical skills to fulfill the hungry needs of busy, young working adults. Eats Machine contains several hidden local restaurants curated by the creators. Small mom-and-pop restaurants will have more visibility to a specific audience such as young adult college students or anyone on a budget looking for delicious local foods. This application also focuses on people that do not have much time to find a local restaurant; as a result, the application provides an easy to use map to locate where you are as well as the restaurants closest to you. It provides quality images, menu items, prices, addresses, contact information, and directions to help users quickly experience what the place is like before venturing out to grab their food. This app will aid budget-tight students and those always on-the-go to find good quality and affordable mom-and-pop restaurants in the lower Manhattan area.
