Catch My Drift is a trend forecasting publication looking at women’s fashion trends in New York City. The publication was created after researching mainstream women’s fashion magazines and seeing that many do not recognize the influence street style has on the fashion industry. The zines highlights what the average woman is wearing right now and what trends they are setting for the future. The content of Catch My Drift shows the information I have found through pictures and explanations of the trends, interviews, and an inspiration board poster that the reader can add to. The mobile app gives readers a chance to photograph the trends they are seeing around them, as well as add pictures to a map illustrating how the trend is moving in a particular area.
