Through a series of puzzle boxes, I explore how memory facilitates different identities to create places of belonging for those who miss home. I have made three jigsaw puzzles comprised of images drawn from places of my childhood. The images focus on an item that elicits specific memories about my home. Each box contains a 25-piece puzzle and other printed matter that allows participants to create their own stories. The intention of this project is to invite people to share collective memories. While home is deeply personal, these puzzles aim to reflect individual experiences in a way everyone can connect with.
