Clutter is everywhere. Many perceive clutter as physical mess that is the evidence of countless delayed decisions, but how does clutter exist in our mental space? For artists and designers who often overwhelm themselves with the creative process, this usually happens because of the ambiguity of soul search within their work, and the self–directed nature of art and design.
Completeness is a natural instinct people seek, yet it is so feared that what was meant to end, is kept unfinished. Clutter As A T( )L is a curation of sources, concepts, imagery, and visuals that all have its determined beginning and end, but it is your will as a creative to complete your journey. In other words, you are de–cluttering your self–determined "space" in order to move forward to the next.
Each "journey" has a number and a key that segues into the next step. The object numbers are completely arbitrary and nothing is predictable. The ambiguity of content but systematic structure creates an unease, which, I believe, is what decluttering encompasses.
