The racer and the suit, asphalt and the body, friction and the fall. Grit becomes the relational tissue that binds this pact between flesh and machine. The body must become one with the vehicle to survive.
Drive, Darling is an artist catalog that investigates the entanglement between human ambition and material vulnerability. The publication narrates velocity through found motorsport imagery and a running manifesto. Marked by friction, weight, and material drag, the featured works render abstractions of motorsport through minimal explorations of form, color, and tactile materiality, realized as mixed-media works and monoprints.
