My inspiration came from a nutritional documentary that questioned a deeply ingrained idea: Why should humans consume cow’s milk? This curiosity led me to create Nomoo, a project that scrutinises the dairy industry through the lenses of ethics, health, and capitalism's impact. By revealing the grim realities behind dairy farming and the potential harm of milk consumption, Nomoo challenges the traditional belief that milk is vital for human nutrition. With an array of engaging tools like books, stickers, and posters, it aims to educate and spark thought among everyone from animal welfare advocates to everyday consumers. Nomoo strives to debunk myths surrounding dairy, emphasising its health risks and ethical concerns, advocating for a shift towards more compassionate and sustainable dietary habits. This project is a call for a more informed discourse on our eating choices, envisioning a future where our relationship with milk reflects our commitment to sustainability and kindness.
