I want to reveal the separation between men and women. The problem is gender prejudice and resulting gender discrimination, which leads to unfair treatment between different genders. They see their “opposite” sex as a competitive group. However, the fight could never end if people group themselves and create “other groups” as imaginary enemies.
To reveal and illustrate my thinking on this problem, I created a 3D animation showing this problem. By using this video, I’m going to change the minds of those people educated in gender stereotypes of what those fights and competition between different groups will result in. Only if every human is treated as equal will rights be equally shared between every single human no matter their social or biological gender.
My animation expresses the social problem of gender opposition. Starting with one cell split into two, each part absorbs different information, which affects their thinking and social issues born of them. The two parts grow hostile. Showing the information affects their thinking and indicates social problems. In the end, the war between two opposite parties brings the collapse of each other. It implicitly expresses the negative impact of gender opposition on the entire society and both parties, thereby allowing the audience to understand that human beings are the same and endless fight will only cause the collapse of themselves and the whole society.
