Based Negative Squad

Based Negative Squad is a music collective featuring a group of boundary-pushing artists, with the intent of bringing a new style into the underground rap scene. For my project, I lead the art direction for this collective by fully immersing myself into the culture of contemporary underground music. Based Negative Squad transcends other musicians by utilizing themes of humor, occult magic, and present-day internet trends. In my thesis, I designed a website, merchandise, and a series of motion graphics blending together these distinct themes.
