We live in a capitalist society, yet our education system doesn't consider financial education an essential subject. Onlara is an app that seeks to fill a huge gap, and teach children about the importance of personal finance in an engaging and joyful way.
Now that most people use their phones or laptops for checking and managing their personal finances, it can be daunting for them to learn these things when they reach adulthood. Not to worry, Onlara can teach children from age groups: elementary, middle, and high school to be financially literate. Its various forms of quizzes, crossword puzzles, daily tasks, checklists, interactive stories, AR filters, and much more help engage the students. Within each lesson, there's an activity and particular tasks paired with it. Every time the student completes a lesson or task, they're rewarded with the app's stone currency to unlock special games and features. In Onlara, the students are also players who can create an illustrative profile picture and level up to increase their rankings like a game. The student's parents can join the fun and connect with their children in their parents' accounts to design their profile avatar, support their progress, and purchase special activities and sets. Arlie the Axolotl also assists the younger age groups in enhancing their learning experience, motivating the students to do their best.
