China’s one-child policy was established at the end of the 1970s. The reason for the implementation was to reduce the growth rate of China. The result of this policy is a decreasing birth rate since the mid 1990s. This plan changed to a two-child policy in the end of 2015. Today, the two most noticeable effects of the one child policy are gender imbalance and low birthrate, which caused a serious aging problem. One Family–One Home is a communication service that assists elderly to connect with the young generation. Simply register an account online. The young generation will use Internet to communicate to the elderly, and the elderly will get the message in paper format. For example, the younger generation can send a message online and it will be sent to the elderly as a letter at home. The service is mean to decrease a height of depression for empty nesters and encourage elderly use a new platform to find themselves new family.
