Inspired by the honesty and powerful impact of personal testimonies, as a student, I wanted to know the full picture about the process of successful creatives that have come before me. Were they always that good? How did they get to where they are now? What does their journey look like? Perhaps the most important question I wanted to know was, “did they too went through the struggles of being inexperienced? If so, how did they overcome it?” Everyday I face the expectations of being perfect while constantly obligated to prove myself. I am judged by my results but not my effort; acknowledged because of my destination while my long and winding process got glanced over. So this project is simply about that. To Celebrate all kinds of different processes and acknowledging that there is no ideal way to get to your destination. To show other creatives that it’s okay to take detours, delays, roundabouts or even not knowing where to go. Only you can walk the journey set out for you. Because the truth is, there is no formula.
