How do we find connection between our present American identities and our individual heritage? Can we better comprehend heritage from inside modern lives that are disconnected from the past?
Blank offers a space to distill the complexities of our identities and to share that crystallized essence. Through re-mixed traditions of virtual quilting and personalized textiles we share stories of heritage. By exploring the blank spaces of heritage we form a quilt of collective identity. Heritage is reimagined, reinvented and rendered into a collective whole.
