Millennials are often described as digital natives because they are immersed in technology on a daily basis. They are comfortable using most devices, websites, social media platforms, and all other kinds of technology as well as are highly adaptable to visual content. I am interested in translating a non-visual matter from our surrounding to a visual matter. It is hard to fully understand and to recognize accurate information portrayed in weather forecast apps. Furthermore, these apps are more focused on explaining the information through the use of images, numbers and sentences. But because humans are highly dependent on visual perception among all cognitive organizations, people can quickly understand the difference in color, length of lines and movement in a certain direction. By giving abstract and specific visual data, Visuweather will not only offer the user the information of weather but can also capture the moment and visually represent the direction, speed of wind, humidity, hotness, coldness and temperature by the variation of icons, shapes and colors.
