There Is No Starting Point and Ending Point

This project challenges the traditional concept of time, suggesting that the past, present, and future do not simply flow in a linear sequence but coexist and influence each other. By deconstructing and reconstructing the traditional form of a clock, this work aims to dismantle the illusion of time and encourage deeper exploration.
Through a time-based format with videos and book, the project invites the audience to engage with important questions: Is time an objective reality, or merely a construct of human perception? The video component presents a series of open-ended questions that prompt the viewer to reconsider the boundaries of time. The ticking of the clock in the video draws attention to time and raises questions about where the beginning and end of life truly lie within an infinite loop.
Meanwhile, the book deconstructs the traditional structure of the clock, Reinterpreting time to question traditional perceptions of it. This reconstruction reveals the fluid and interdependent nature of past, present, and future. Instead of presenting a fixed order, the audience is invited to actively redefine these temporal categories by rotating the pages themselves. The ticking clock at the center of the book serves as a reminder that the time we perceive is not an endless flow, but is shaped by our personal experiences and consciousness.
By immersing the audience in this reconstructed time and continuously questioning whether time is truly flowing, this work demonstrates how time is defined, experienced, and ultimately perceived.
