After a streak of visits back home was interrupted by the isolating period of the COVID-19 lockdown, inevitable shifts in the once-familiar landscape stirred deep contemplation. My initial excitement faded, giving way to reflection. Revisiting the places in my hometown that once brought sensory joy, I sought to transform those experiences—now distant and incomplete—into a source of comfort and connection. This project serves as an archive of personal memory, created during my reacquaintance with my hometown. It represents a new interpretation of familiar urban geographies, where imagery and sensory experiences associated with natural and artificial landscape are transformed into visuals.
