Depression is a common experience that many people face at some point in their lives. It results in feelings of constant worry or fear that can lead to a sense of self-doubt and worthlessness even when there may be no rational reason to feel that way. This emotional state can manifest physically, with symptoms such as chest tightness and difficulty breathing, making it difficult to overcome.
Reduction and Mindfulness is a project that explores new ways of interpreting meditation and offers a personal perspective on depression and anxiety. The project incorporates 3D animation, sound, and voice recording to guide the audience through various emotional stages, from panic to calmness. The project provides an online walkthrough experience that combines various visual representations of emotions and self-awareness. Its goal is to express personal emotions based on past experiences, with the hope that the audience will gain a deeper understanding of their own.
