Equal is a genderless lifestyle brand. Behind every design there is a sense of confidence, strength, and empowerment. We think about our designs as bold, crisp, and sophisticated. Because gender is becoming more fluid, we realize the need to take a stance on this subject using this brand as our platform. We are interested in breaking down gender norms.The genesis for the project came when I found myself shopping in the mens department for t-shirts and sweaters; this was when we realized what the women’s section was missing: quality materials and fit. We believe that the optical illusional E as our logo creates a strong base for our brand, as we believe gender is an illusion.
